Host a Fundraiser to Benefit FCC
Special events play a critical role in raising funds and awareness of our work and domestic violence. Thank you for your interest in hosting your own event to support our cause. Creating a fundraising event is a fun and rewarding experience and FCC is committed helping and supporting everyone with all the essentials necessary so all your time, hard work and planning result in success.
Eat, Drink and Be Merry for a good cause!
Potluck Dinner Giving Circle -Everyone brings a dish and donates what they would have spent on a dinner out.
Dine and Share: Ask your favorite restaurant to donate a percentage of one night's proceeds. Get everyone you know to pack the place and enjoy some food and fun.
Holiday Cocktail Party: Invite friends for a holiday celebration, instead of a gift exchange collect gifts for the shelter!
Dance Marathon: Get on your feet and move to the groove. See who can dance the longest and ask people to sponsor you while you dance.
Baby Shower: Invite a group of people to a baby shower. Play games and collect baby gifts for infants and moms served in the shelter.
Backyard Drive-In Movie: Get the neighborhood together and watch the movie and enjoy snacks. Collect non-perishable food items for snack foods.
HOST YOUR OWN EVENT GUIDELINES
The following guidelines to help ensure that your FCC fundraising event meets state and federal fundraising regulations.
Responsibilities: As the event organizer, you'll be responsible for all sponsors, permits, licenses, insurance and expenses associated with your event.
Event Planning Support: A FCC Staff member is available to answer questions on the planning and execution of event materials, timelines and other planning procedures.
We can post your event on our website and will promote on our Facebook, if you'd like to reach as many people as possible.
